Reviews about the book:
In parapsychology, spirituality and modern belief, an aura is a subtle field of luminous multicoloured radiation surrounding a person or object as a cocoon or halo.
An aura may be held to represent or be composed of soul vibrations or chakras, and may reflect the moods or thoughts of the person it surrounds. Auras are thought to be related to the etheric subtle body and to serve as a visual measure of the state of the health of the physical body. Auras are not thought to be actual light but a translation of other unknown sensory readings that is added to our visual processing.
They are not seen in complete darkness and cannot be seen if some portion of the person or object emitting the aura cannot also be seen.
Auras are not always perceived the same way. In fact some people do not even see them as multicolored and see them as a solid color. An aura can be any color ranging from the ultimatium of black to the starkness of white, the fiery red or lucid green, and so on and so forth.
Ancient shamanic and modern New Age metaphysics identify the aura as electromagnetic fields. The existence of electromagnetic fields around all living and many nonliving objects is purportedly demonstrated through Kirlian photography. Nonliving objects that have been reported to have strong auras include Mount Fuji in Japan.
In the captivating the book, “ Auras – See them in only 60 seconds! “ Written by Mark Smith and published by Pustak Mahal, one is convinced, that so-called scientific yardsticks, used by skeptics to deny what is often beyond the range of human knowledge to date, are not infallible. As Shakespeare noted, there is more to things than dreamt of in our philosophies. Many facts we consider natural truths and take for granted were in fact decried as nonsense not too long ago. Mark Smith does not make claims, which you and I cannot immediately verify. He shows us how to identify auras, our own and those of others, in a minute! He explains his own voyage of discovery, his initial skepticism, the incredible experiences, the enormous scope in diagnosing the state of mind and body of individuals, the detection of illnesses before they manifest themselves in the body, and even how to use the knowledge to develop more positive energies.
The book needs to be read by educators, as it provides an instantaneous picture of the true nature and mood of their students and wards.
We get a fascinating insight into the art of reading the auras and interpreting the varied colours.
Orange means health and energy, yellow, love and kindness, blue, strong mental powers, and green, harmony, gold, good qualities, etc.
Brown shows selfishness, scarlet, lust, gray, depression and fear, and so on.
We learn that our auras influence our surroundings, and are in turn influenced by them. The energy we exude is the energy we attract. Specific professions have particular auras.
Entertainers have different auras on and off stage. What we think, visualize, and feel, all play major roles in the image our aura projects.
We can influence our auras by altering our states of positivity or negativity.
Mark Smith shows how simple breathing habits can affect our state of well being.
There are something in life, which when encountered, make us wonder, “ Why didn’t I learn about this earlier?”
This book comes in that category. I regret I did not come across it earlier.
