The book is a collection of eleven stories where you can relate to the characters. Each story leaves us with something to ponder. For instance the title story tells the tale of a postal runner (a post which no longer exists). He used to cross a jungle to deliver the post. He was very friendly with wild animals. All this changed when his post was abolished and van was introduced to deliver the mail. A van requires a road, which in turn meant cutting of trees. …
