Claims and Refunds

Under what circumstances are books refundable?
Any book that Pustak Mahal has supplied in error, or any defective material sent inadvertently, is automatically returnable.

Please note that we can process returns and refunds only for items purchased from Pustakmahal.com. We cannot exchange items unless they are defective or damaged. Items that are returned more than 20 days after delivery, are in unsellable condition, will be charged a re-stocking fee at our discretion.

In what format are claims accepted?
Claims are accepted in any print or electronic format: Library Claim forms, letters, e-mail or copies of the original order. Claims should, if at all possible, provide the same complete bibliographical information that was on the original order form, including the ISBN and the date of the original order

Is there a time limit within which I can return a book?
Within 20 days of receipt of your shipment, you may return any of the following items, for a full refund (We'll even refund the shipping cost if the return is a result of our error).

How much time does it take for refund?
We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund within 2 to 7 weeks of our receiving your return.
