How are items priced at Pustakmahal.com?
The prices of all items at Pustakmahal.com are displayed in Indian Rupees and US Dollars. (If you have select a preferred currency in the Options, then that currency is displayed ONLY.) All payments can be made in Indian Rupees or US Dollars. Almost every item in our catalogue is priced at least 10% less than its list price. Not forgetting the specially featured books that carry discounts up to 40%.

How do I know if the prices displayed are correct or not?
We take great care and check all the prices before we put them up for display at our site. In addition, we always verify prices as part of our shipping process. If an item's price is lower than our displayed price, we charge the lower amount and ship your item.

In case, a item's price is more than the displayed price, we will contact you for instructions before we ship the item.

What is List Price?
It is the price at which a particular item can be bought in the market. 

How do I pay?
Pustakmahal.com offers you a host of convenient payment options to choose from. You can pay through your

• Cheques or Demand Drafts
• Postal Orders (i.e Value Payable by Post) [Only in India]

How do I pay by Credit Card?
We accept MasterCard and VISA. Select the mode of payment in the Shopping Cart as 'Credit Card'. After you have confirmed your order and are ready to pay for it, you 'll be redirected to ICICI Bank' Payment Gateway, where you can fill out the Credit Card Details.
Please Note that all credit card details are taken at the secure payment gateway of ICICI Bank and we don't save any credit card details.

How do I pay by Cheque/Demand Draft?
We accept cheques as well as demand drafts of all banks accredited to the Reserve Bank of India. When paying by cheque/ demand draft, you need to submit your cheque/ demand draft number. Please make sure that you make the draft/cheque in the name of "PustakMahal Publishers" payable at New Delhi.

Will paying by Cheque/Demand Draft slow down my order?
Paying by cheque slows down your order because we do not ship your orders until we receive your cheque/demand draft and your payment is cleared by the concerned bank.

How do I pay for International Shipping?
Orders shipped Internationally can be paid by Credit Cards.
