How will I receive my orders?
Once your orders and payments are fully processed, we pack your items for shipping. This is done with special care, so that you receive your order in perfect condition. Indian Postal Order deliver these items at the address submitted by you while filling up the online order form.

What is Shipping Address?
The address where you want to receive your orders is called the Shipping Address. It could be your home or office.

What is Preferred Shipping Address?
Once you place your orders with us, you can instruct us to store your shipping address so that you don't have to enter the address again.

What is shipping time?
Shipping time is the time taken to deliver your order at your shipping address, after the order has been shipped. It depends on where you stay and on the Shipping Method you choose while filling up the online order form.

We accept and ship orders all over the world.

When do I actually receive my order?
It depends on the availability of items you order, the time taken by your payments to reach us and the shipping method you select.

To find out when you will receive an item, you need to consider the ship out time of the items you are ordering as well as the shipping option you select. Here's the equation we use:

Longest Ship Out Time + Payment Realisation Time + Shipping Time = Total Delivery Time

For example, many items on our site show 2 day availability. Your shipping time will be 1 to 4 business days, depending on where you live and what shipping option you choose. This means your total delivery time will be 2 day (ship out time) + 4 days (if you pay by cheque, payable in Delhi) + 3 to 10 days (shipping time). So you can expect to receive this item 10 to 208 days after you place your order. If you pay by credit card, your payment realisation time is zero.

How do I know if my order has been shipped?
We will send you an e-mail as soon as your order is shipped out. This will also inform you about your order as well as when you can expect your order to arrive at your shipping address.

How much do I pay for shipping?
You pay shipping charges as per following table.

Note: You may be subject to import duties and taxes on certain items, which are levied once a shipment reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be borne by you; we have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be. Customs policies vary widely from country to country. Additionally, when ordering from Pustakmahal.com, you are considered the importer of record and must comply with all laws and regulations of the country in which you are receiving the goods.

          By registered parcel against advance payments or through VPP: Rs. 25.00 for the Ist Item & Rs. 10.00 for  each additional item.(No suppplies to Nepal by VPP).

• Internatopnal Rates:

         By Air: Rs. 300.00 for the Ist Item & Rs. 60.00 for the each additional Item.

        By Sea: Rs. 200.00 for the Ist Item & Rs. 40.00 for the each addional Item.

        By Courier: Rs. 875.00 for the Ist Item & Rs. 300.00 for the each addional Item.

  For Online Purchase Order Outside INDIA & NEPAL

        By Air:   USD 6.00 for the Ist Item & USD 2.50 for the each additonal Item.

                        (Delivery Time 6 to 8 weeks)

        By Sea: USD 3.00 for the Ist Item & USD 1.00 for the each additonal Item.

                        (Delivery Time 8 to 15 weeks)

        By Courier: USD 16.00 for the Ist Item & USD 5.00 for the each additonal Item.
