How To Be A Good Teacher

How To Be A Good Teacher

Those who educate children well are more to be honoured than they who produce them; for these only gave them life, those the art of living well – Aristotle

Like parents even teachers are responsible for the physical, mental, emotional, moral, intellectual and social development of a child. Teachers share their valuable knowledge and prepare students not only for a successful professional life but also for an excellent personal life. With little expectations of any recognition or rewards they are in many ways nation builders and are major contributors in the lives of millions in any society. A good teacher is a friend, guide, philosopher, parent,  and a genuine critic. As said by Dan Rather – the dream begins with a teacher who believes in you, who tugs and pushes and leads you to the next plateau, sometimes poking you with a sharp stick called "truth".
